Finding the Light

Matthew 2:2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. After Jesus was born, a light in the skies appeared. A group of men looked up and saw this light, and immediately knew it was supernatural. With some research these wise men knew this star belonged to the King of the Jews. These men grabbed some of their most precious treasure and headed on their way to worship the newborn King. They lost the light and headed to Jerusalem to find the King of the Jews. This was a mistake that led them to a dark place of trouble. They left Jerusalem and once again found the light and they rejoiced with exceeding great joy when they were back in the light's path. This light led them to the young child Jesus. They were able to worship and adore the King of the Jews. They offered their precious gifts and never forgot the light that led them to the Prince of Peace. Folks, we live in a dark world. Without the Light we will continue to stumble through life making many mistakes along the way. It's time we be like the wise men and look into the Word of God to find the Light. It's time that we let the Light guide us back to the King of Kings and worship and adore Him. It's time that we bring our finest gifts to Jesus and sacrifice for the Son of God. We all make mistakes and get our eyes off the Light. I pray that if you find yourself in a pit of mistakes today, that you will look up and find that Light. That you will run as fast as you can back to God, and stay close by His side. I know that when you find the Light, you too will rejoice with exceeding great joy.

1John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Matthew 5:16Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
