ABOUT US

Silver Valley Baptist Church is more than a Church, it is a family of believers that seek to love God and to love others.  We have fashioned our ministry after the ministry of Christ. We deeply desire to love as Christ loved. We strive to teach the truth as Christ is The Way, The Truth, and The Life. We pray that we can be a bright and shining light in the Silver Valley by living as Jesus lived, that they may see our good works, and glorify our Father which is in Heaven. At SVBC it is our goal to fulfill the great commission by lifting up Christ and the Gospel in the Silver Valley, in California, throughout America, and into the whole World.

Our Doctrine

  • We believe that God is, has always been, and always will be.

  • We believe that God is Omniscient, Omnipresent, and Omnipotent.

  • We believe that God is love and is merciful and desires that everyone be saved from the wrath of Hell. 

  • We believe every Word of God is inspired and eternally preserved.

  • We believe that Jesus Christ was born the Son of God through the virgin Mary. 

  • We believe that Jesus lived a sinless and obedient life. 

  • We believe that Jesus willingly gave his life on the cross to pay the sin debt of every man. He paid the penalty of Hell. 

  • We believe Jesus rose again three days later and lives today in Heaven with God watching over His Church. 

  • We believe that every believer becomes a temple of God by the in-dwelling of the Holy Spirit. 

  • We believe the Holy Spirit is God and His in-dwelling will never leave the believer therefore one cannot lose their salvation. 

  • We believe that Jesus is the head of the Church and that He is using the church today to preach the Gospel to every creature.

  • We believe that a church is not just to win the lost but to teach them the whole counsel of God and then train them to win others to Jesus. 

  • We believe that a church should do everything possible to show the love of Jesus to EVERYONE. 

  • We believe that Jesus is coming back to receive His saints and will one day destroy sin, the devil and create a new Heaven and a new Earth.

  • We believe in the power of prayer. With God nothing is impossible

  • We believe that America can see revival, if God’s people will seek Him, and humble themselves, and pray
